Kathak Gunguru Festival

One of the most memorable days of my life was my Gunguru wedding day. Apart from the local traditional dance, my favorite tradition is Kathak. My beloved teacher, parents and siblings were a big help to make the day beautiful.

It was a very happy day. We held the pooja at Marimuttuamman temple in Negombo. We danced what we learned that day. that is,

I celebrated Gunguru festival in Kathak on 10-30-2022. It was a very happy day for me. I am learning Kathak from teacher Inoka. She is a very kind teacher. She teaches us a lot. Teaching activities are also done very clearly. On the first day I was in Gunguru, he told me many things that I didn't know and removed my fear and was friendly with us.

That day I made my clothes very beautifully together with my friends. 300 Gungurus joined Ap's Gejji vine. That day my parents and friends also came. Later I also applied for the scholar examination. That day was recorded as a most memorable day for me.
