Kolam theater, which consists of highly artistic theatrical elements, occupies a central place in the tradition of the lowlands. Kolam theater art has nothing to do with Shanti Karma, even though masked performances are performed in Shanti Karma. It can be seen strongly that the existing system of governance is being ridiculed and criticized by highlighting the weaknesses of the colonial rule. Apart from that, it can be seen that the Kolam drama has been created about the various groups of people who invaded Sri Lanka and migrated in Sri Lanka. Various characters can be seen in the scripts of kolam dances Only the Vidana and the President don't wear masks.
